The club is hosting a 2 meter simplex only contest from May 9th to September 11th. Members are encouraged to make as many simplex contacts as possible on the 2 meter band. Repeaters can be used to coordinate between stations but logged contacts must be made in simplex mode ONLY. There must be a significant distance between locations to record multiple contacts from the same operator. Awards for most contacts and longest distance contact will be presented at the September meeting |
